Norman Hay – Commodity markets
Norman Hay is the current Chairman and CEO, Cargill International S.A. Platform Leader: Energy, Ocean Transport and Global Biofuels, Ethanol/Biodiesel. Cargill Corporate Committee for Risk Management & Value Management. Norman formerly served as CEO at Renessen, biotech joint venture with Monsanto. He was responsible for the negotiation of the JV, strategic development, recruitment, operations and commercialization of the venture. Norman joined Cargill in 1976 in the UK and has since covered every aspect of global origination, trading, risk management and corporate management of all grains, softs, energy, byproducts, processing divisions, etc.
Satish Nandapurkar – Exchanges and alliances
Satish Nandapurkar is the current President and CEO Chicago Climate Exchange. Satish has served as CEO of U.S. Futures Exchange (formerly Eurex US), the first futures exchange in the US to implement a fully electronic trading platform with a fair and transparent market model, an open membership policy, and significantly lower fees for all participants. He also served as CME’s Managing Director of Products and Services, directing CME’s sales, marketing, and product development efforts. Instrumental in the exchange’s transition from open outcry to electronic trading as well as its transition from a member-owned organization to a shareholder value-driven, NYSE-listed corporation.
James Falvey – Legal
James Falvey is an adjunct professor at Penn State University. James has served as general counsel for R.J. O’Brien & Associates (RJO), the largest independent futures brokerage in the US, Intercontinental Exchange, Inc. (ICE), and U.S. Futures Exchange (formerly Eurex U.S.). James is also the former Director and Associate Counsel at Chicago Mercantile Exchange Inc. (CME). He is a member of the CFTC Technology Advisory Committee since 2004 and served on the Chicago Federal Reserve Bank’s Financial Services Working Group in 2008.
Greg Williams – Data architecture
Greg Williams is the Chief Applications Architect for Oppenheimer Funds Inc., one of the nation’s largest asset management companies, managing a team of technical and strategic architects to deliver SOA, Enterprise Integration and the firm’s Data Services platform. In his 20+ years in the high technology industry, Greg has served at such companies as Netscape, HP, Sun Microsystems, and several start-up companies as a software engineer, developer, and architect.
